Lift Removal

With as many as twenty successful lift and removals under our belt, and almost as many escalators – JMK is confident we can remove and dispose of obsolete lifts and escalators with a minimum of fuss. Our workforce holds all of the necessary tickets to safely and efficiently remove all brands of machinery. We are dogmen, riggers, fabricators and machine operators with years of experience in heavy and complex lift and escalator demolition.

In lift demolition, JMK can isolate, power down, deconstruct and remove all electrical and mechanical components. Materials are segregated and recycled to EPA standards. All remaining cabling is stripped out of the shafts and pits themselves, as well as other elevator/lift-specific items.

Escalators share the same fate with all associated ancillary systems removed ‘back to base’ so that other trades may begin replacement/remediation works.
